Boys Of Summer

April 26, 2006

The weekend settled amazingly, I joined the company outing and it was a blast. I never thought that I’d have so much fun with my colleagues, in fact it was a whole lot better that I’ve expected. How we’d wish it was an overnight affair, but either way at the end of that tiring day it was so worth it.

The sun was basking gorgeously in the early morning sky, stupid me to have forgotten my old-reliable SLR camera. Maybe I was quite conscious to even bring it, I’d be an underdog against those digicams and DSLR’s, but that’s the least of my worries, I’d be worried though if I left my mp3 player at home, I’d be slumped without music on a long and tiring ride.

I’d be putting up photos probably in the next day or two, I’d have to scour them from buddies of mine who have ‘em, and off-course I gotta load ‘em up on flickr, as for now this post will be as bare as an elephant’s butt.

Holey Weak

April 14, 2006

Went to file my income tax a few days back, it was an experience but not too much so as to be remembered, an activity I’d be happier not to repeat, actually, it’ll probably depend if I’m gonna move out and get a new job (again), which makes me more hesitant on finding one.

The week turned out ok, except me getting sick again, since yesterday, it really does suck! its a pain, while I’m ackwardly sniffing snots I’m also being aimed for skin diseases by ultra-violet rays as I’m painfully strolling, basking in the sun. Next weekend will be a different story though, company outing is due, its gonna be this saturday, HELL YEAH!! its gonna be one hell of a party!! booze! booze! and more booze!

Here’s the deal, I’m really too lazy to write nowadays, since there’s really nothing much goin’ on, well, there was this supposedly “big thing” that happened a few months back, but that stuff is boring as hell, and I now realize just how shitty and what a stupid nonsense it was.

A week after being dumped in the morning shift at work, I can probably say that I’ve managed my time well, in a 5 day work shift I’ve attained a level of responsibility out of it, a ratio of 3:2 lates isn’t a bad thing, after all I’m still coping with all its chaos, afternoon traffic, the hoards of people out in the streets and off course the all mighty sun.

Having this early shift does have a few quirks, hmmm, actually there’s nothing I can think off, hahaha! but its ok in someways, I get to go home early, or probably go to the mall or something, or I could go to my buddy’s house and hit on sweet mary jane (pucker up!). I now understand why “TGIF” is so fuckin’ hip with yuppies! its the best day of the week, you get to do whatever the fuck you want without minding work! and if I can re-phrase it, it’d be TGIFF, “Thank God It’s FUCKIN’ Friday”.

Gomorrah’s Season Ends

March 1, 2006

It’s over … and this’ll be the last time that I am going to stab my poor heart for everything that had been.

The days have gotten a little easier this past few days, people near me who’s known about it, have so much love to give, honestly, its getting a bit overwhelming. My mom whose always been there through hard times with me, didn’t disappoint, a simple hug from her turns this burden into such relief, no words can express how much I appreciate what she’s done for me, I love her.

I know that anything I write or say here wouldn’t change anything, not one bit, what’s done is done, but at least I get to speak about it freely without contentions.

My Week Of Mourning

February 18, 2006

Nahihirapan na ang aking isip
Nauubusan na ng sasabihin sa iyo …
Nanlalamig na ba ang pag-ibig mo sa’kin …
Giliw …

Nalilito ako, nais kong sagipin ang ating
Nalulunod na pag-ibig
Nguni’t handa akong palayain ka
Kung ito ang ‘yong hiling
Gaano man kasakit sa akin
Ibibgay sa yo
Ang tanging pakiusap lang
‘Wag mo akong kalimutan …

Kay rami nang nagdaan
Na pagsubok sa ting pag-ibig
Kakayanin pa kayang mabawi pa
Ang mga nasabi nang masasakit na salita …

Nanlalamig na bang pag-ibig mo?

Zero Signal

Got nothin’ much to post after the holidays, something went on, but definitely uninteresting. Work has been so far, very much mediocre, an email here, troubleshoot there, but definitely better than the previous. Most of the tools that we use are now activated for my account, that which makes it more flexible when troubleshooting stuff, especially when it comes to accessing remote servers.

I Want One!

Though I love having my Lancer and having owned it for the past 6 years, tons of memories will always remain in me with that car, but as they say “change is inevitable”. My main goal for next year and the one that’s really pushing me to save up, is day-dreaming of having a new set of wheels … a Kia Picanto to be more specific … I’m really fallin’ in love with that car.

Aggravating Aggregator

I was browsing through different download sites earlier, looking for any atom/rss readers I could find for this corporate-beat-old laptop that I have. I couple of results did come up, there’s feedreader, rssreader and the best I think is feeddemon, though the latter isn’t free.

There were a couple of things to consider to sort out the best one that’s for me, I’d really like to have a stand-alone client, something that I can use away from my browser, I want to use my browser for its main purpose “browsing”, that’s why I don’t want any plug-in that I can just stick to firefox or IE, I don’t find it comfortable really. The other irritating part is most of the ones that I did like won’t actually work unless you have Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your PC which is about 20 megabytes … so if your on dial-up, might as well get an all-nighter pre-paid ISP card just to make sure it’ll be done with the darn thing even before you wake-up.
